Fitness is a great way to stay healthy. Exercise at least 4 days per week and keep your body hydrated. Drink at least, 6 cups of water per day. Water plays and overriding role when trying to live a healthy lifestyle.

Are you too busy to attend a gym? You can exercise for about a half hour daily in the comfort of your home. All you need to do is, 200 jumping jacks, 50 sit ups, 20 hops on each leg, and drink half cup of water during your routines.

Never! give up, and you shall persevere. Try walking and consider purchasing an elliptical, exercise bike or a treadmill. All of these equipment are practical ways to begin a healthy lifestyle. An elliptical focuses on burning calories, sculpting the arms and strengthening the legs. The treadmill is very effective in fat burning, calorie burning and seeing fast results.


The exercise bike is the easiest of the 3 because it allows you to sit, minimize resistance, and there are no hand movements necessary. Exercise can be a lot of fun, especially for someone who is determine to get fit. Another simple way to burn a significant amount of calories is to dance to your favorite tunes. Turn on your favorite music and groove for an hour. You can burn about 600 calories per hour doing so. Keep a positive energy and stay focused.

Do exercises that best suits you so that you can enjoy it and want to do more. There are plenty of exercise routines to choose from. There are tons of exercise videos and blogs that you can observe.

Most people become overweight because they eat fattening foods, such as fried foods, too much cheese, and cakes to name A few. Start eating 1,800 calories max per day. If you feel hungry, drink water and eat empty calorie foods such as fruits and vegetables of your choice. A good way to practice healthy eating is to dispose any unhealthy foods in the home and do not purchase them. If you possess fatty unhealthy foods in your home, you will crave it.

Create a healthy eating plan every week and purchase those foods on your shopping trip. A personal trainer helps people with their goals. If you feel like exercise is very challenging, then you should consider hiring a personal trainer to help you concentrate and stay persistent to your fitness plan. The trainer also specializes in meal plans and will furnish you with information that best suits you. If however, you can not afford a personal trainer, there is beneficial information online.

Another reason to execute a healthy lifestyle is to make your body stronger. As you age, you need to stay strong so your bones are not weak, which can lead to bridle bones, arthritis, fractured hip, or shorter lifespan. Keep track of your achievements by weighing yourself every week and take notes of body changes. You can loose up to 5 lbs. a week. If you follow my guidelines, you will see results.

  1. I woke up early, took my dog for an extra long walk, did the at home workout you suggested, avoided sugar with breakfast as well as my mid-morning snack, and I feel FANTASTIC!!
